Tumblr Thread: Lazy Stack-able Cats

It is a known fact that cats are lazy. No surprise to anyone there. But just how lazy are cats really? Well, tumblr decided to find out, and apparently, the answer is: you can stack approximately 20 power rangers onto a cat, and it will not even budge. 27 toddler socks also works as well as "many" oranges. 

Our theory is that cats think that if they simply don't react - not even a single flinch - then we suddenly won't see that they're there and leave them alone. But hey, as much as we love these little felines, cats are mildly annoying sometimes, so we get to mildly annoy them too occasionally. Don't worry though, a snack is in order after this weird experiment.

    Don't know what to tell you, man, when I tried putting a sock on my cat, she wiggled out from under it so fast it was, it was hilarious. Need to catch her at a more sleepy moment next time, or maybe change items. Soft cat toys seem like a good option.

    Might be interesting to do this with snacks. Catch them when they're tired, put a little nugget next to their tail where they can't reach it without moving and see how long it takes them to get over themselves and get the snack. I have a feeling my lazy furball will not move at least until piece 8.
